Foyard in ChatGPT

Foyard in ChatGPT is a plugin that lets ChatGPT search flights, trains, buses, hotels and apartments through Foyard and show the results as interactive cards in the conversation. One transport search covers scheduled and low-cost airlines and rail and coach operators across Europe; one stay search covers hotels and apartments from major global inventories. Bookable result cards have a Book button that opens a Foyard checkout page.

The plugin is built and operated by Foyard. It is not made or endorsed by OpenAI.

How to add it to ChatGPT

Option 1: From the plugin directory

Search for Foyard by name in the plugin directory and install it from its listing. The listing becomes available once OpenAI's review is complete. ChatGPT and Codex share one plugin directory, so the same listing can also be found from supported Codex surfaces.

Option 2: As a custom MCP server

You can also add Foyard's MCP server to ChatGPT yourself. Your account or workspace policies decide whether custom MCP servers can be added.

1. Go to ChatGPT Plugins: https://chatgpt.com/plugins.
2. Select the plus button, then "Add custom MCP server".
3. Enter a name (for example, Foyard) and a short description.
4. Under "Connection", enter this server URL:

   https://www.foyard.ai/mcp/openai

5. For "Authentication", select "No authentication". No account or sign-in is required.
6. Review the risk warning and select "I understand and want to continue".
7. Select "Create as a plugin" and review the tools discovered from the server.

Then install it and start using it:

1. Open your personal plugins (https://chatgpt.com/plugins?view=personal), open Foyard and select the plus button to install it.
2. On the ChatGPT homepage, switch the tab from "Chat" to "Work" and start a new Work chat.
3. Type @ in the prompt box, select Foyard and ask your question.

How booking works

• Clicking Book on a result card (or asking ChatGPT to open checkout for an option) creates a pending order and opens a Foyard checkout page in your browser.
• Passenger or guest details and payment are entered on that page: card via Stripe, with PayPal for most products. Some hotel rates take the card as a guarantee and are paid at the hotel.
• Foyard's checkout adds a service fee to the price on the card: 10% on hotel stays and 1% on flights, trains and buses. Foyard's own apartments and some hotels have none.
• Nothing is charged from inside ChatGPT.
• After payment you receive the confirmation and tickets or vouchers by email.
• Bookings are subject to the Foyard Terms and Conditions.

What data is sent to Foyard

The plugin sends Foyard the search parameters you give ChatGPT (route, dates, number and ages of passengers, location, filters such as cabin class or refundability) and, when you book, the identifier of the offer you chose. No account or sign-in is needed to search.

ChatGPT also attaches technical metadata to each request (a coarse location, your locale and anonymous user and conversation IDs). Foyard does not use it. When result cards load photos and logos from foyard.ai, your browser's IP address and user agent reach Foyard's servers and logs. The stays map loads Google Maps directly, so Google receives them too. No chat history or other conversation content is sent.

Personal details are entered only on the checkout page and are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

Tools

• search_transport (read-only): Searches flights, trains and buses for one route and date and shows the results as a comparison carousel.
• search_stays (read-only): Searches hotels and apartments near a place for a date range and shows the cheapest refundable and non-refundable rate per property.
• create_checkout_link (write): Creates a pending order for one offer from a previous search and returns a link to its Foyard checkout page that works for 60 minutes. Each call creates a new pending order; nothing is charged.
